At 4Fires we are committed to protect the privacy and confidence of our website visitors, email subscribers and everyone we work with.
If you want more information about how we handle information to ensure privacy, please read on
We use Cookies to analyse user activity in order to improve the Website. We can use such analysis to gain insights about how to improve the functionality and experience of the website. When someone visits our website we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.
We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
We may use cookies to inform, optimise and serve online advertising. 4Fires may implement display advertising and social media advertising (using Facebook) and we may use Google Analytics and Facebook's tracking pixel to implement a specific feature called remarketing.
Remarketing is a feature of Google's AdWords service that allows us to deliver advert content that has been specifically targeted to a website user's interests and behaviour, based on pages visited and actions taken during previous visits to our website.
If you'd like more information about how remarketing works in Google Analytics, please visit the following site.
You can opt-out of having making your site activity available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) that is running on websites from sharing information with Google Analytics about visit activity.
As part of the registration process for our Email e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We will only ever send emails to contacts who want to receive them, and we comply with EU GHDPR regulations to make sure everyone on our mailing list wants to be there, has confirmed they are happy to receive our messages, and is able to change their mind an unsubscribe at any time. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us at: angel@4Fires.io
We use a third party provider called Typeform to handle our application, survey and registration forms. We use the data collected in our Typeform forms to help us understand the levels of interest in our various projects and products. You can read Typeform's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Use here
People who register their interest through these forms will be added to a contact list, so that we can inform them when we have news about membership opportunities. We ask all respondents to opt-in to email communications, and this is the only way we will contact them.
We don't sell your data to any other organisations or to any advertisers. The only third parties who will ever handle any of your data are listed above (MailChimp, Google Analytics, Facebook, Typeform). All of these are GDRP compliant and have detailed Privacy Policies you can read for more information.
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. You have a right to remove any of your personal data permanently from our records. If you want to do any of the above, please email your request to: info@4Fires.co.uk
We regularly review our Privacy Policy. This was last updated on 20th March 2020.
